解 説
|
|
体長1.5 mm。体色は赤褐色。頭盾外周は鱗片状毛で縁どられ，前縁は直線状で両側はやや角ばる。触角柄節外縁は角ばる。頭部や胸部にかってのセダカウロコアリ属やヨフシウロコアリ属の種にみられる円状の体毛を持つ。
照葉樹林の林床に生息し，土中に営巣する。かってのSmithistruma sp. 8 (日本蟻類研究会, 1988) およびOnoyama (1976) の Smithistruma sp. に相当する。まれ。
