解 説
|
|
体長1.5 mm。頭盾は幅広く，外周は鱗片状毛で縁どられず，前縁は突出する。前中胸はほとんど隆起しない。イガウロコアリにきわめて類似するが，体毛は単純で，より長く，密生し，頭部や胸部背面では立毛となる。
照葉樹林の林床に生息する。台湾の奮起湖 (Funkiko) を模式産地として記載された種で，Onoyama (1976) のWeberistruma sp. に相当し，「和名一覧」(日本蟻類研究会, 1988) では Smithistruma sp. 5 として区別していた種にあたる。
