解 説
|
|
体長3.5〜4 mm。体色は黄色から黄褐色。体全体に多数の金色の体毛をもつ。大あごは9〜10個の歯をもつ。頭盾を側方から見た輪郭はなだらかな弧を描く。腹柄節下部突起は3角形状によく発達し，下端は尖る。
朽木中や林床中に営巣し，ハリアリ類の中では大きなコロニーをつくる。鞘翅目や双翅目を中心とした昆虫の幼虫を餌とする（村田，1988）。
各地の林床に普通に見られる。
