HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE

1. CD-ROM version

The CD-ROM version is the time slice of our developing database. The 2003 version contains the most up-to-date information by the end of 2002. Because of the restriction of CD-ROM size, we have to reduce the size of images. It may also contains several errors or "history" of information. Since we will try to keep update our web version, please access our site to get the most recent knowledge of Japanese Ants.

2. Web version (http://ant.edb.miyakyo-u.ac.jp/)

The web version contains not only the most recent file but also the contents of our CD-ROMs from 1985 to 2003 with full size of images. We are, also, preparing text search function for our web database. We hope that you will enjoy our web site.
