Description

Worker caste polymorphic. Medium to large ants. Mandibles with 6 or 7 teeth (a few species with 5 teeth in minor worker). Anterior margin of clypeus strongly produced and angular with a straight median border.

Remarks

Japanese species: C. albosparatus Bingham, C. devestivus Wheeler, C. friedae Forel, C. kaguya Terayama, C. monju Terayama.
