Description
|
|
Total length of workers around 2 mm. Head and mesosoma yellowish brown; gaster dark brown. Pronotal dorsum with two pairs of long, erect hairs and three pairs of short hairs; mesonotal dorsum with two pairs of long erect hairs; hairs lacking on propodeal dorsum. Very similar to P. amia: but the head and mesosoma are lighter in color than in that species (which is dark- to blackish brown); mesonotal dorsum with two pairs of erect hairs (there are more than two pairs in P. amia).

Remarks

This species is found in gasslands and forests, nesting in the soil, leaf litter and rotting wood.
