Description
|
|
Total length of workers around 1.5 mm. Body essentially uniform in color: yellow to yellowish brown. Eyes small, each with only 1 or 2 facets. Mandibles each with 4 teeth. Paired longitudinal carinae on clypeus obscure; median part of clypeus distinctly raised. Metanotal groove distinct. Posterodorsal portion of propodeum angulate. Ventral outline of petiole roundly convex in profile. Surface of mesopleuron and lateral portions of propodeum with fine punctures; remainder of the body smooth and shining.

This species is found in open habitats and nests under stones, in the bark of trees, or in plant cavities.
