Technomyrmex albipes Technomyrmex gibbosus

Erect setae present on gastral tergites 1 to 3 (Fig. 2.10a); body concolorus black, antennal funiculi and tarsi pale yellowish white; eyes situated at about the mid-length of the sides of the head, distance between anterior margin of eyes and anterior border of clypeus nearly as long as that between posterior margin of eyes and posterior border of head (Fig. 2.11a) Erect setae absent on gastral tergites 1 to 3 (Fig. 2.10b); head and mesosoma reddish brown to brown, paler than gaster, tarsi yellow to yellowish brown, nearly the same color as other parts of legs; eyes situated anterior to the mid-length of the sides of the head, distance between anterior margin of eyes and anterior border of clypeus shorter than that between posterior margin of eyes and posterior border of head (Fig. 2.11b)
